Powerball and all lotteries continue to be ridiculous hard to win at 300 Million to 1.  Lottery commission continues to be total rip off for all. The lottery is only legal to be operated by the states, making lottery actually illegal itself. The government claims it pays for education, which it only does in part. It's all a legal rip off unfair business practice, and not unified with the people or the nation in a real way. It looks good, sounds good, creating all those millionaires, but it hardly does that, as only a few in, and they only pay this win out over many months mostly going without any winners at all. The money clearly is used for the government to run its own (education) and lottery system.

FOLLOW THE MONEY 

IT IS Lottery is only used to cover expenses, like any corporation and its own services. Let us use an example. They claim in Michigan to invent a game where players returns are equal. That is players can break even playing the game. In fact this is like a casino that offers great odds, almost even at 50-50, but not quite. Actually the casino never offers 50-50, as in sports it is 60-40 or worse on most bets. The real fact is it's really never even because the investor (you) is the one putting up the money to play. This means that naturally you will end up losing the money because your providing the funds to play, not the casino or government. They take their cut off every dollar, like the huge taxes they remove from the winnings. Michigan wins, the people do win if they are in michigan, but really it is the michigan government that wins, not the people in the state, who like in Flint and Detroit, get nothing much at all.
