The only reason people hate Ted Cruz is b/c they know they're not nearly as smart as he is.

Yes, Speedy, the article WAS absurd.   You can't deny that Cruz is one of the smartest people in D.C., though. If you do, then you're not nearly as smart as you think you are.

You've got it all wrong, you're the one that's absurd. Cruz is hated by his fellow congressmen as well as most American voters.
