It most certainly is and it began centuries ago. Today's hatred, though, is not actually viewed as such but rather as political correctness. People are saying and doing things that they supposedly wouldn't tolerate if their children said or did those same things. In turn, they allow our president to speak and act in ways towards the people that would be zero tolerance in their household. I've often referred to hatred as a 'cancer' because it really does eat people up.
