I met a British woman online and she came over several times to see me. I took her to Palo Duro Canyon (2nd largest behind the Grand) and she got to see all kinds of wildlife, but got really excited when I showed her a roadrunner by the side of the road, nearly camouflaged by the brush. I stopped and she was taking photos and then leaned out the window and listening intently. "Whaddya doin'?" I asked her. "Hoping I will hear his call." she replied. "Call?" I asked. "Yes, she told me. "Waiting for the 'meep meep'."
