Trump seems to think that he can pick and choose the crisis that are now his. Well , you can't! Every president inherits the problems of the previous administration. It's your job to take ownership and fix what needs to be fixed. Playing the blame game shows weakness and uncertainty to the American people. An unstable leader is a threat to our security. It encourages our enemies to test our resolve.

He wants to pick and choose his battles like he does with his own businesses but, he cannot do that while serving as POTUS. In this deal, ALL the battles come to him and must be dealt with regardless. Now, once again Trump is the Master Distractor and recently exercised that talent with his transgender tweet. This was intentionally done to cause the fire storm it did, and, mainly to get the media all riled up and off the fact that he now must DIRECTLY deal with Putin and the new harsher sanctions. Think about it, Speedy, every single time that something significant with Russia comes up, Trump produces a bright and shiny object to mesmerize his base and Putin was talking about retaliation during all this. Trump needed to down play what was really going get people focused in on him and knew that gays in the military would work flawlessly. Before he made that very comment, here's how he felt back in 1999 on MTP regarding this same issue ( beginning @12 sec mark):

Now, I understand that a person's mind can change over time but, there's always a trail of progression towards that change and Trump showed none what so ever. He simply did another hat trick with all the right timing. Listen, when Manning was commuted from his/her prison sentence by the great President Obama, Trump mentioned absolutely NOTHING about gays, transgenders, or the corresponding treatment(s) to transform genders in the military. But, look at what Trump did say about Chelsea's remarks regarding President Obama:

Speedy, you and I along with select others fully understand how Trump operates but, it's the easily duped in his base who completely fail at rebooting their minds and seeing the real picture. Trump uses whom ever he can when he can to promote his objective(s) and he used Obama at that time to DEFEND HIM from Chelsea who asserted he was weak. Well, Trump himself later called Obama weak when it was expedient to promote his agenda. Then, during the presser when both Trump and Obama spoke spoke openly, Trump called Obama a good man, very intelligent. Right? Oh, but then he called Obama a bad (or sick) guy during his whole wire 'tapp' deal and this same behavior has been deadly consistent to this very moment. What's also been consistent is the positive reinforcement extended to Trump by his baseless base. Speedy, these people see and understand the same things that we're seeing and understanding, okay. They know how to compare the facts and weed out the falsehoods just like we do but, their resolve is simply ignorance. They know full well that the ACA, in fact, dramatically slowed the rising costs of healthcare and allowed millions of people to gain coverage while still having its drawbacks. It's not imploding, it's not a jobs killer, and it's not a bad deal overall...at all. What it is, though, is an original republican idea championed by Romney and mastered by Obama...which is what THE REAL PROBLEM IS WITH REPUBLICANS AND THE ACA. WTF kinda name for legislation is that anyway, man? At any rate, John McCain aka J-Mac finally had his moment!! McCain to full advantage of that opportunity to come back from being diagnosed with brain cancer...AND B*TCH SLAPPING TRUMP WITH THAT DECISIVE VOTE!!

J-Mac is like the elephant, he didn't forget what Trump said about him being a POW long ago...not a fat chick's chance at Baskin Robbins. With thst vote, he told Trump that he could kiss his still lively, spry, and tough @ss for how he disrespected him. J-Mac got his payback!!!!!!
