Forgiveness is a tough one. It's strange that we can find so much comfort in holding onto negativity. I can certainly think of some things in my life that I'd be better off to forgive and forget about them. Grudges usually create the biggest burden for those who hold them.

I agree. However, there is a big difference between forgiving and forgetting. I still believe people need to be accountable for their actions. Once I watched a Law & Order episode where the mother of a murdered child forgave the shooter, but of course he still had to be punished. I'm not sure I could be that forgiving.
