Well, here's the dealio. ALL Americans have been ordered to leave NK, and, there will be absolutely NO TRAVEL TO NK AFTER September 1st. I'm presently trying to obtain a little detail on the relevance of this date and order. I believe it's very serious although any conflict that jumps off will pull both China and Russia in directly. Tillerson said there are no plans to attack but, if Kim Jong Un bothers ANY of the Americans trying to exit that country, all hell will be released. LL, if a war were to break out between the US and N.Korea, S. Korea would be decimated. N. Korea has a standing army of 1 MILLION strong, there are only approx. 30,000 US troops at anytime stationed there...with those types of odds we won't be able to win a conventional war without a substantial lost of life. We would have to revert to some advanced form of weaponry to even the odds, this is where the danger lies. This war of words is nothing new, it was going on when I was stationed there from 1974 - 1975. We had several alerts a month...we had to stay in the ready mode. However, it is different now, there is not much defense if the enemy goes nuclear. Which in turn, would cause the US to do likewise, thus a catastrophic death toll would occur that the world could never imagine. All these cheer leaders for Trump's rhetoric have nothing to lose...they would never serve nor their children, but it's OK for other people's children to serve while theirs are safe at home with mommy and daddy. What hypocrites! We now have an all volunteer arm force now, so volunteer or STFU!
