-One thing I will acknowledge here, first, is that CNN did push it way too far at times with their wanting to provide coverage. The video that Konane shared is but one example of their inconsideration, and, I don't say this because the victims were black. This is a trying time and that family lost everything...EVERYTHING. If that CNN anchor really wanted to do something, she could've asked what they needed right then for comfort, next of kin, and other things like. Leave 'em alone from there.-

Now, I'm making a change here and will from henceforth illustrate how "I'm" actually THE YEAST INFECTION around here as evidenced with just how much, and, how well I INDIRECTLY/UNINTENTIONALLY IRRITATE ALL THE C*NTZ around here. I need not target anyone but, simply address any article with facts, reason, history, etc. to draw a crowd. Hey, wait a minute, this is exactly what Trump did in Corpus, he talked about his crowd size. Then, when he arrived in Austin for his presser, he never once mentioned the victims.

LL, two questions that are asked that piss me off are, Are you doing OK? I say to myself, hell to the no azzhole. Can't your blind azz see that my house is flooded and these clothes that I have on is it. Were you frighten during the storm? Would you be frighten if it sounded like a plucking freight train is about to hit your house? Dumbazzes

My sentiments exactly, Speedy. Obviously, ain't nobody okay in that disaster be it mentally, financially, or morally. However, I did see where they actually helped to pull a guy from a truck that was pretty much floating away...it was surreal, man. This was in Port Arthur. They also helped an elderly couple load up out in Dickinson and provided the only footage of the National Guard rescuing from their aircraft which was pretty cool. While I was doing what little I could here in Katy in the Barker Cypress area, I saw a couple of the old school military Deuce And A Halfs providing transport for those rescued. That brought back memories. We have a looong way to go.

They are reporters. Most of them really don't know what to say or what they are saying. They pretty much are told by their 'superiors' what they should say and they just act like they are ok with it, otherwise they probably wouldn't have a job. I am amazed that I heard up to 80% do not have flood insurance. The gov't will help in some fashion but in what way or how was not mentioned on tv. CNN is all about the money. For decades they've been like that. I doubt they will change. Sorry to interject here, hope you guys are doing ok. And yes, I agree most people here are c*ntz.

Well, I knew this was coming because I trust the source as do most reporting agencies. The Arkema Chemical Plant is expected to either spontaneously combust or explode much like the fertilizer plant did out in West, Texas back in 2013. As of right now, a 1.5 mile radius around this plant HAS BEEN EVACUATED and the reason why is because the chemicals contained there cannot be cooled as their refrigeration units have failed and they have no way of getting to them. It's reported that it will likely explode due to the chemicals nature, and, no one even knows what kind of chemicals are even in there.

"Why is that, Lucky? I mean, somebody's gotta know what's in there." Right and wrong. Right, the Arkema CEO knows what's in there as do the employees but, they ain't talkin'. Wrong, the PEOPLE THAT MATTER THE MOST, THE RESIDENTS, DON'T KNOW JACK ABOUT WHAT'S BEING CONTAINED AROUND THEM. The reason why is because our dumb, insensitive, and selfish azz governor Greg Abbott revoked THE CITIZENS' Right To Know Act right after the West explosion. Yeah, he said that people do not have the right to know what's being stored in the environment which they occupy. Prior to revoking this law, the people could request what is known as a Tier II which is more or less like an MSDS and outlines the chemical(s) and their nature. Now, THEY CANNOT. The good people in Crosby, as of right now, have no phuckin' clue on just how toxic the chemical are, what the residual fallout might be, how it may affect their respiratory system, or ANY PHUCKIN' THING!!!!

I certainly agree with this first link's title:

The next couple of links basically detail the situation at hand:

*President Trump and Abbott are about to have both hands, feet, shoulders, and everything else occupied with trying manage the multiplicity of things happening in Texas. Trump is blatantly incapable and Abbott clearly really doesn't care as evidenced by his moves beginning back in 2013. This is Texas' turning point albeit at the mercy of disaster in my opinion.

There's another update. The SB4 Sanctuary Cities Law was due to go into effect on Friday but, a Texas judge has blocked it. The reason is because it jeopardizes people's lives in the midst of this devastation as they're afraid to ask for help in being rescued or for others to be helped...for fear of being detained and possibly deported or incarcerated. In short, this is not a time to be focused on who has papers and who doesn't but rather who needs help being saved. AMEN!!!! Oh, but our selfish azz and inconsiderate governor here PLANS ON APPEALING THIS DECISION YESTERDAY, folks. You wanna talk about people that have absolutely no morals, feelings, OR RELIGION? It's all the Greg Abbotts in this world. Boy, but they really talk about how Christian-like they are...all their Christian values and such. This mutherphucker wants the First Responders in Law Enforcement checking for citizenship in the middle of this disaster. Then, there's possibly an explosion brewing. Hell, I guess he expects them to look for illegals after the explosion, too!!! Insensitive <snip>!!

How hypocritical is it that he just sat his azz right next Trump and talked about helping ALL THOSE IN DANGER AND IN NEED DUE TO HARVEY? Phuck the word immigrants, THESE ARE PEOPLE just like all the rest of the people in danger. Unbelievable. You won't hear Fox News talk about this, I guarantee it. Michael Berry won't even touch it and he's right up the highway from Abbott...as well as his pitch man.

Thank you, Soledad. We were actually okay although water creeped up the driveway pretty good. Blessed indeed! I now stand corrected on my comments about Michael Berry above. He did, in fact, touch very heavily on my sentiments regarding the people in Crosby having a right to know about what's going on around them with these chemical plants. He touched on air quality, safety, and the whole nine while not directly slapping Greg Abbott across his head for what he did to the Right To Know Act. Good job Michael Berry!!!!!
