Trump's threat to shut down the government is an outright lie. To do so would interfere with the recovery funds that the hurricane Harvey victims need to clean up and rebuild. If he were to do this he would become the most hated man on the planet.

There will be no funds for a wall for his entire first term, if he even makes it that far. I triple dare him to risk giving back a BUNCH of seats.
