What's more annoying to me -not just in here but elsewhere as well - are those who have blogs but don't allow comments, esp. if they're posting something controversial or inflammatory. They should at least have the courage of their convictions and defend their point of view.
Plus, didn't you challenge the person to block you if they didn't like what you were writing?
"If-you-don't-like-my-posts-just-block-me-and-you'll-never-see-my-posts...PERFECT!! Problem-solved!"
I'd say if he had a problem, he solved it.
The block function exists in order to be used by people who want to use it. There is no "lack of guts" when someone uses the feature. In fact, it can be a blessing to eliminate angry exchanges caused by people looking to start fights because they disagree with someone politically. I've used it myself in my blog to block angry people who refuse to engage in thoughtful debate.
I'm not a coward, I've just observed over time what works for me. I'm very thankful for the block feature and will continue to utilize it.
