This tactic will back fire MISERABLY, I can assure you. Trump simply did what he always does and created a diversion from the inevitable regarding the Russian probe. A major revelation is enroute and he's trying to soften the blow. Not. Conversely, the owners and players have way more power to affect a given outcome than Trump ever will. *If the bulk of the NFL goes on strike refusing to play unless the immature toddler in charge APOLOGIZES to all those players AND MOMS HE OFFENDED, then he'll have a major legal problem. In fact, he just may have it right now.
