I agree, but only up to a point. I certainly expect boundaries to be set. I'm not even talking about a romance necessarily, but everyone needs to be responsible. I think sometimes there can be too much space.

I think that allowing space in a relationship simply means that both parties are free to truly be themselves without any efforts to shape one another. That greater lattitude in being oneself allows each person to know and understand the other with greater depth. That can mean more work in the relationship, but it also opens the interpersonal dynamic to greater possibilities.

I know what you are saying, Aye. I agree that being 2 individuals is very important, but I also think that too much space can lead to trouble.

I always say that I'll get married again if I can have my own home. :-)   That's giving me a lot of personal space. lol I once had a penpal in Calif and I was in Boston. I guess that would make me bi-coastal. (groan)
