"...According to records from the Nevada Prescription Monitoring Program obtained by the paper on Tuesday, Paddock was prescribed 50 10-milligram diazepam tablets on June 21 by Henderson, Nevada physician Dr. Steven Winkler. Diazepam – better known by its brand name, Valium – is a sedative and muscle relaxer in the class of drugs known as benzodiazepines, which studies have shown can cause aggressive behavior in some patients. Chronic use has also been linked to psychotic episodes.

Paddock purchased the drug without insurance at a Walgreens store in Reno on the same day it was prescribed. He was supposed to take one pill a day. "If somebody has an underlying aggression problem and you sedate them with that drug, they can become aggressive,” said Dr. Mel Pohl, chief medical officer of the Las Vegas Recovery Center. “It can disinhibit an underlying emotional state. … It is much like what happens when you give alcohol to some people … they become aggressive instead of going to sleep.”

The effects of the drug are amplified by alcohol, Pohl said. ...."

This nothing short of a horrific terrorist attack upon innocent civilians

Shooter may have led a secret corrupted style Waller Mitty life

His criminal late father hated & died in Vegas, could this could be some perverted karma generational, cause & consequences, retribution ???

Much that is known, has not been revealed - it's called damage control

I go to the doctor now and then for different ailments. They ask if I have pain which I do daily from mild to severe in my right hip and leg from a bad hip joint and severe arthritis. I told the doctor that I would not take any prescribed medication for pain.
As a matter of fact I dislike taking any medication unless it is an absolute necessity. I did take pain medication while I was in the hospital through an IV when I had a portion of a lung removed. I did not take any pain reliever pills after I was discharged that I remember. Hurt like he!! for a couple weeks. Let the sleep overtake the pain.

Yep, If he was wired up on drugs he was going he!! bent for election without a care. If he was wired up for a kill his Adrenalin is wired up like a soldier in a fire fight.
I seen a couple reports of possibly more than one shooter. See what the investigation brings.
