Okay, Mr. Brian C. Joondeph, let's you and I brainstorm and air out some FACTS here, shall we? It's gonna be long. As you've accurately stated, more guns equals more deaths via suicide, particularly among our veterans. That's a whole 'nother conversation which you and your failing party are willing to engage in...how our returning veterans find a gun and just end it at a rate of 20+ per day. Yeah, that's about one every 65 minutes or so, my man, and all YOU AND MOST MEDIA can do is focus on mass shootings for political expediency. I'm actually pretty phuckin' pissed off 'cause while your 'Vegas Vigilante' knocked off (58) people plus himself, by the 10th OF THIS MONTH, THOSE WHICH HAVE SERVED AND PROTECTED US IN HARM'S WAY WILL HAVE EXCEEDED THAT NUMBER you phuckin' MORON! Just like Tillerson accurately called your daddy Trump a MORON!! At least our liberal stations have touched on this FACT and are wondering why none of you refuse to...you phuckin' MORON.

What happens in Vegas STAYS in Vegas, huh?? Then, why the phuck is everyone talkin' about THOSE PEOPLE as opposed to OUR VETERANS with the SAME INTENSITY? Yeah, already I know, that's pretty d@mned good question. No one in all the other blogs I've asked that same question have an answer either... NO ONE. Even those that try and spar with me daily are quiet. It speaks volumes, Brian, volumes about what's actually important to people and WHO they actually care about. Know what, Brian? Those comments made by that CBS Legal Executive, Getman-Gold, actually carried lots of merit but, they simply should've been kept to their person. It was WRONG TO SAY THAT. However, in my honest and humble opinion, if that concert had taken place WITHOUT a mass casualty situation and similar commentary had been made about guns and those present at the concert, it wouldn't have nearly been such an issue. It is, in fact, Republicans that talk most about 'packing' and their 2nd Amendment...and mostly Republicans do the country western concerts. The fact that people were killed sealed the fate on that while it's also a FACT that NOTHING was done about Sandy Hook as stated. CHILDREN and their teachers, PUBLIC SERVANTS, were senselessly killed in the same way. Getman-Gold was fired because THE TRUTH HURTS!!!

I will give you this, though. *There is no defense for the element of surprise...which is why it's deemed as such its name. Vegas was not a surprise at all...nope. People saw it coming and turned a blind eye because Vegas gun totin' laws allows people to possess MACHINE GUNS and walk down the streets with their assault weapons which are DESIGNED FOR MASS CASUALTY...COMBAT TYPE-$HIT. So do other states. What's to prevent someone else from doing the SAME THING AGAIN in a month with a simple semi-automatic weapon? Hmmmm? Nothing. We are embarking on a dangerous trend of 'the new norm' of mass casualties frequently although, mass shootings don't currently account for the highest percentage of gun violence and killing. Yep, suicide does, just as I began with but it STILL can't hold a phuckin' candle to DAILY VETERAN SUICIDES VIA GUNS. You people are boxed in, in this regard, and your silence on the subject tells all.

Moving right along. I'm enjoying our exchange Brian, but don't worry, I have only two more things to cover. Now, your NRA recently went on Fox News to discuss producing legislation on banning the 'Bump Stock' which was installed on TWELVE of the Vegas Vigilante's assault weapons. This is great but, it's MINIMAL in overall effect. We must investigate WHY such a fixture was actually legalized in the first place when even a SILENCER has been banned because IT ALSO ALTERS THE LETHALITY OF A GUN by causing it to discharge with relative quietness. This fosters the shooter's ability to target more people 'incognito.' I'm glad Ryan decided to put that on the back burner again but, the hunters that supposedly wanted access to silencers aren't that happy. The explanation of the Bump Stock for disabled people was a bunch of BS from jump street. What disabled person needs to rapid fire a fully automatic assault weapon, Brian? Come on, now. Let's look:

https://mic.com/articles/184982/bump-stocks-were-supposedly-made-for-disabled-people-thats-not-how-theyre-actually-being-used#.3FSrVQJJU

-But why were these deadly tools made in the first place? Supposedly, the devices were invented in 2010 to better enable those with disabilities to shoot a gun, according to the AP.

In a 2010 letter from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to leading bump stock manufacturer Slide Fire Solutions, ATF noted that according to Slide Fire, the device “is intended to assist persons whose hands have limited mobility to ‘bump-fire’ an AR-15 type rifle.”-

Then came the following, from a manufacturer:

-In a 2016 interview with Ammoland, Slide Fire inventor Jeremiah Cottle said he developed the Slide Fire stock “to make bump firing safer and more controlled,” and that the product was geared not to a disabled population, but rather to “people, like me, [who] love full auto.”

-“The Slide Fire simply allows you to shoot as fast as you want to,” Cottle said. “It just helps you fire the gun in semi-automatic very fast. You don’t need an auto-sear. You can fire the gun yourself as fast as you want.”

These able-bodied gun owners seeking speed — and the feel of an automatic weapon — are apparently the device’s primary market. North Carolina gun store manager Dorothy Royal told the AP in 2013 that while she does sell bump stocks to wounded veterans, an estimated 70% of her buyers have no visible disability.-

The INTENT of that device is what's up for discussin' at this point. I'll leave it there for now on that. The NRA also HYPOCRITICALLY brought up yet another issue on gun safety regarding MENTAL HEALTH checks. They never said a word, though, about Trump's hand in this. Picture that!!!! We on this side see this as complete hypocrisy because when Trump first took office he did THIS:

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/trump-signs-bill-revoking-obama-era-gun-checks-people-mental-n727221

-President Donald Trump quietly signed a bill into law Tuesday rolling back an Obama-era regulation that made it harder for people with mental illnesses to purchase a gun.-

Maybe Trump has mental issues, maybe those NRA folks on Fox News have even MORE mental issues. Fox News and the NRA outright lied about silencers because they've been pushing this through since 2015 with Rep. Matt Salmon heading it:

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2017/10/04/media-doesnt-understand-guns-and-doesnt-want-to.html

--Within hours of the Las Vegas shooting, Senator Chuck Schumer was pushing the narrative that the GOP was ramming through legislation to de-regulate silencers. This was also a fabrication.-

Wrong, Fox News. Here's the deal:

http://thehill.com/regulation/257984-gun-lobby-pushes-to-loosen-restrictions-on-silencers

-Gun rights groups are putting their might behind Republican legislation that would ease restrictions for firearm owners looking to buy silencers.

Roundly panned by gun control advocates, the Hearing Protection Act introduced this week by Rep. Matt Salmon (R-Ariz.) aims to provide hunters with easier access to gun silencers.

“Suppressors significantly reduce the chance of hearing loss for anyone who enjoys the shooting sports,” Chris Cox, executive director of National Rifle Association’s lobbying arm, said in a statement.-

Wait just a minute, where's all the hoopla about possible hearing losses associated with sport shooting? Okay, I'm a fair guy which everyone should know BY NOW...and I'll even cite Breitbart as my source:

Just as I figured, I should've posted into two parts. It eliminated the rest of my entry due to bandwith limitation...which I eluded to before. I'll get a chance to throw it in later.
