For sure it's an interesting show. Likely in the future computer generated characters will replace actors given graphics improvements. I think people like being able to manipulate actions of a graphics character as opposed to being manipulated by social engineering and political statements by real life actors.

This has been a pet peeve of mine for years- and I do mean YEARS, since the last movie I went to see in the theater was Titanic and cut out my cable over three years ago. I'm tired of being preached to by celebrities who ridicule where I live, how I vote and my core values.

I don't mind so much that their politics are different than mine, it's just that I resent the huge soapbox they have that comes free gratis w/ their celebrity.    I also resent them telling me to lessen my carbon footprint when theirs is a hundred times that of mine...not to mention them blathering on about things of which they know nothing. Their work is not only "make believe", their real life is as well. They blast those of us who want a wall - or at least decent border security - yet they have walls and security around their own homes. THEY are the ones employing illegals to tend to their manicured lawns, not me. They insist upon gun control, yet don't go out without armed bodyguards....not to mention making violent movies chock full of gun battles and death, where everyone who wants a machine gun can get it. (I've been around guns all my life and have seen just one automatic weapon)

I'm also tired of Hollywood pushing their agenda, forcing their false narratives upon the rest of us. They would have us believe that criminals are basically good at heart, that adultery is the norm, not the exception and that every other person is gay.   Plus, does no one else but me recognize their bigotry? Blacks and Hispanics have to be saved by some white liberal do-gooder and older white men are always racist and the biggest sinners are always Christians.

"You have to separate the artist from their private life, from their political views." we're told, but how can we ignore their scorn when we watch one of their self-aggrandizing, pat-themselves-on-the-back awards shows where they publicly show their contempt for us?   How many times have we been told by them that they'll move if their candidate isn't elected? They'd get at least a modicum of respect from me if they'd keep their word and do as they said they'd do.

Movie attendance is the lowest its been in 20 yrs. and TV ratings - esp. those of the Big Three original TV networks - are being diluted by quality programming from small networks who choose to produce quality shows, not throwing retread dreck against the wall to see what sticks.

BRAVO, Mike, Bravo & Welcome back

Does mi heart good to see a unabashed stand up red blooded American draw a line in the sand of our time. Like our early defenders @ the Alamo!

Very well said Mike. I too don't go to the theater to give my money to libstards. I don't watch awards shows, got sick of the political tripe, along with them patting themselves on the back.

I hope you're doing ok.

Good post Mike.
One of my favorite shows is the Walking Dead, in season 2, Rick prays to Jesus for help, he asks him to send a sign, "any sign will do"...Next scene is son Carl is shot, that stuck in my head.
My other favorite show is Supernatural, Angels and Demons, Jesus does not exist is this world, he's just a man. I'll keep watching I enjoy both shows, they don't go overboard with Political stuff, but it is there every now and then.
