Navajo Code Talker Breaks Silence After Trump Pocahontas Comment – What He Says, Wow

"...Reporter and writer Joshua Green met Thomas Begay, one of the code talkers honored Monday, on his way out of Washington, D.C. Begay asked him about the event. Begay said he was “puzzled” about the comment but not offended.

Then Begay dropped a very non safe-space one liner:

“The Marines made us yell ‘Geronimo’ when we jumped out of planes and that didn’t offend me either.”

The Navajo Code Talkers did just as much as a Soldier did. in WWII. Pocahontas Punjab is a disgrace to all Americans.

Thanks Sully. I think it was born out of the PC indoctrination Hillary started when Slick was president. Likely as a distraction from his presidential actions and skirt chasing.

Thanks Maddog. I've heard same about the Navajo Code Talkers. I'm happy they were recognized for their immense contribution.

Seems the ones getting offended may not have had enough attention as a child.

Our background is widely varied.

Has President Trump said anything to offend us... no.

We might disagree a bit, but it's not going to make us go apesh!t berserk.

In our opinion, We Are All Native Americans.

The simple fact you were born here makes you Native.

Thanks Jade. "The simple fact you were born here makes you Native." Thank you for saying that. I never considered things in that context.

I feel our varied backgrounds are what has made America great and will do so again.
