The Flu

Well, for the first time in three years, I have the flu. This is the worst feeling you could have I think, outside of death. I actually feel like I'm in a coffin with heat waves just broiling me..oh no, what does that mean? LOL Looks like Urgent Care for me tomorrow. Not that they will be able to anything about a virus, but here's hoping!

When you get to where it sounds good, chicken soup is said to one of grandma's remedies which does help. Hope you feel better soon!!

Sorry to hear you are ill. Be careful taking antibiotics, but that's what most doctors seem to prescribe these days. Drink lots of hot herbal tea.   I know many people don't believe in Vitamin C, but I recommend a drink called EmergenC. Hope you feel better soon.

Thank you all for your well wishes. I went to U.C. last night with my son (he has it too), and he is over it for the most part - my temperature was near 104! Yikes! Needless to say I didn't sleep at all last night. But the Tamiflu is in me, hopefully a quick recovery is in order. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemies!

Konane - funny you should mention it..my stepdaughter's grandma is making us chicken soup today.

justxploring - I will try that drink. The wife is going to Target this afternoon...I will request herbal tea and the EmergenC :)

Hope you feel better soon.I had it last year and felt miserable!It made every bone in my body hurt.Took the flu shot this year!! Get well soon!!!!!!!
