We don't have a gun problem. We have a society problem.
Published:
It's not a gun problem, it's a society problem.
We live in a society that has no respect for human life.
We live in a society where every petty little disagreement or argument results in someone pulling a knife or a gun to settle it.
We live in a society where if you bump into some one, or accidentally step on someone's foot while walking through a crowd, they want to shoot you because they feel disrespected.
We live in a society where there is no longer any respect for parents, teachers, elders, laws, customs, or authority.
We live in a society where no one treats people courteously, politely, or has good manners. Saying please and thank you used to be the norm. Now it's the exception. Why is that?
We live in a society where you get murdered by a 15 year old because he wants to prove he deserves to be in a gang.
We live in a society where that same 15 year old will murder several more people because he wants to have street cred.
We live in a society where you can not give an honest opinion about anything, because every one gets upset and says, you're not being politically correct.
We live in a society where we have metal detectors at schools because kids think it's alright to bring guns to school to settle a beef with a classmate or a bully. Where did they get that idea?
We live in a society where one kid will film another kid, hitting someone in the face with a pair of brass knuckles, and then post it on face book or you tube.
How did we get like this?
Guns have been around for centuries. But we didn't have all this other stuff 30 years ago. It's not a gun problem. It's a society problem. And that problem starts in the home. Think about that.

@ Soledad): I disagree with you, to me you're disagreeing with your eye's closed. If these kids today had responsible parents, or Guardians this wouldn't be happening. It is the adult who has let them down, because they're too busy socially. Take away these games that promote Violence, and get tough on them, will set them on the right course. The amount of guns that are out there, has absolutely nothing to do with it.
