I have a couple points on the Syria attack.
#1 It was to show Assad he meant what he said concerning chemical weapons.
#2 It was to show the world and especially Rocket Man that he was not afraid to use force when called for.

And, I think Haley said it quite well. " We are locked and loaded if Assad does another chemical attack"!!!!

Thanks CARBOB. I agree with the narrative that it makes no sense for Assad to use chemical weapons on his own people.
