What is going on in DC? What is sessions doing? I know he recused himself, but Rosenstein's name keeps showing up in illegal activities. Can't Sessions fire him?

Thanks CARBOB. I've read there is a conflict of interest for Rosenstein (can not remember the exact reasons atm) which may compel him to resign.

His opinion is all well and good for the legal points. But the question is who is going to step in and enforce those legal points? If anything President Trump needs to have his White House legal team review all of the legal points on Mueller's duties and take appropriate action from there.
Yes, I did read all of Calabresi's opinion on the legal points.

Thanks JAP. I looked for where I read a logical and legal succession of Rosenstein should he have to resign. I can not locate it at the moment but it indicated that the appointment would not be of a swamp dweller.

If Rosenstein resigns or is fired the next one nominated for appointment to the position should not have any prior work history in the FBI or DOJ. You can not trust anyone from those two agencies now. Full of skunks now.

I am aware some of the "Swamp Rats" have been in government many years but I don't recall ever seeing so many. They are coming out of the woodwork since Obama was elected, reminds me of Chicago style politics.
