...."I think in a contempt proceeding the issue would be the respondent’s or the department’s compliance with the subpoena in issue. I’m pretty sure that’s how it works. It is not clear to me how the staffers’ emails and text messages otherwise unavailable to the department would be relevant. The patent stupidity of this response adds insult to injury. It is lame. Something is rotten in the Department of Justice."

Incredible dysfunction. Time for Rosenstein to hit the road. How is President Trump going to clean up THAT cesspool?

I think Trump is giving these people free rein with what they are doing by not taking action on it from the start. The more this continues on the more of them are exposed. There will be a time when he closes the gate on the corral. Get them all rounded up [exposed].

Thanks JAP. I feel you're absolutely correct in all you said.

None of this is a shock to any of us who've been researching. However when you consider the general public it has to be rolled out slowly with substantive irrefutable proof. At best it's going to be shocking.

I don't understand why it should be shocking. Do a background check on every politician in Obama's administration, especially his appointed Attorney Generals and anyone they hired. This is where most of the "swamp" came from.

Thanks CARBOB. Most of the general public who's been spoon fed mainstream news would be mortified if all the stuff we know were foisted on them all at once. I'm happy it's all bubbling to the surface like methane bubbles under a thick layer of swamp slime.
