HHS: 5 adults claiming to be parents of detained children ruled out by DNA tests

" ......The Trump administration is using DNA testing to reunite migrant families previously separated in order to prosecute adults illegally crossing the border.

“If we find out they are not the legal parent, then clearly we are not going to reunite them,” said Chris Meekins, a top HHS official overseeing the reunification process. “Our process may not be as quick as some would like, but there is no question it is protecting children.” ......

Jeez, how about not separating them in the first place? Second, why didn't they have a system to identify and link kids together in the first place? Wrist bands, id cards, accurate tracking of where each kid and each parent every minute. Have they heard of computers?

Thanks Sarge. For the most part I'm nor in favor of chipping, however doing so for asylum seekers including kids would solve lots of problems. I would favor including genetic info on the chip which of course could be later verified should there ever be a question as to its validity.
