For God's sake do what the popo says, they got you, you ain't going anywhere but jail. Exploding bullets in a gun's magazine is catastrophic to anyone in close vicinity. kinda like small grenades with bullets (the part that leaves the cartridge) adding to the mix. A police friend of mine was doing a demo of street sweeper type shotgun... the drum (shotgun shell magazine) got lit up with 10+ cartridges in it, he held on almost lost his arm.
