Correct me if I am wrong, but don't bureaucrats such as Brennan "serve at the pleasure of the President"?

Him whining about losing his security clearance is akin to a fired-for-embezzlement bank teller insisting they get back the keys to the vault.

Thanks Mike. I read that the president could revoke security clearance if he deemed it necessary.

I think Brennan is upset b/c he figured he would go to work for some private contractor doing classified work for the govt., but to do that he would need his clearance. I think he's P.O.'d not only at the humiliation, but that he's also being hit in the wallet.
