It would be hard for me to convict her of the offense if it went to a jury I was on, but...
She's even MORE screwed b/c the gov. of Arkansas is a former prosecutor as well as being the Admin. of the DEA, so there's not much chance of any leniency coming from him.
This is just one of those cases that "slips between the cracks" ...only this time it's slipping between her own poor choice of dealing pot and a necessary one of defending her home and family. That said, I can't see where the prosecutor has anything to gain, politically speaking, from proceeding with the case against this young woman.
I will be keeping an eye on this case and outcome, just created a Google alert.
