I always use that JFK quote to leftists when they accuse me or other conservatives of being people who "vote against our best interests". Good grief, if I wanted to vote for MY best interests, I would probably vote for whoever would "gimme" the most. No, I always try to vote for my country's best interests.

First, let’s compare socialism vs. communism. They are inseparable. Communism is the political system. Socialism is the economic system of communism. That’s the only difference. They are part and parcel of the same system promoted by Karl Marx....remember Trotsky? ?

There has never been a country that practiced true Communism, no one! Maybe the reason why is because Socialism is a part of it. After retiring from the military and the "Wall" coming down and seeing Gorbachev at Stanford University, I began studying Communism. I wish I could recall the book that explained how true Communism was suppose to work.
