Interesting that you are quoting someone who wrote a book about the loss of personal freedom and privacy. Things haven't change that much, have they?

Oceania, Eastasia and Eurasia will be constantly at war for the very reasons the book suggests. It is unfolding before our eyes. The whole process is being enacted today just as Orwell predicted. Unfortunately very few people seem to be aware of it or willing to take action against it.

It's a very Orwellian world in which we live. I think he was truly a visionary. We're living so much of what he wrote about in his book 1984.
