WaPo Slams NYT Over Embarrassing Nikki Haley "Drape-Gate" Retraction

The New York Times on Thursday wrote an incredibly ham-handed hit-piece on UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, suggesting that she had spent over $52,000 on curtains at the official ambassador's residence.

Except, she didn't. The curtains were installed during the Obama administration, while Susan Rice stayed there at a cost of approximately $135,000 per month - over twice what Haley's rent costs, according to the Daily Caller's Kyle Becker.

I said elsewhere that I wouldn't doubt the Democrats open an inquiry as to what Haley didn't cancel the order, try to deflect blame from themselves.

Who is overseeing this budget? And how in hellll does anybody pay $135 THOUSAND DOLLARS A MONTH RENT. These people do not care at all, it isnt their money. I am appalled, Susan Rice, what is WRONG with her?. I am so pissed off over this total waste of taxpayer money and expense.
If our government had all the waste stopped immediately, our debt would be wiped out. THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES, WOW. But hey, Obama had the most transparent administration, what a CROCK.

Thanks Lejardin. When things are cleaned out I'm sure they're going to move toward cutting expenses. I can not fathom that much for a month's rent.
