Yes, if we're going to continue with this absurd charade, then by all means, get the lawyers involved. However, if Ford doesn't show up to testify, then let's get on with the vote. There's no need to even consider her demand that the FBI investigate the alleged crime; that's for the LE entity to do in the jurisdiction where it allegedly took place. Besides, I'm sure a sitting Federal judge has had his background investigated multiple times before and I'm also sure Trump had him thoroughly investigated prior to selecting him.
