Not enough science taught in schools, as well as civics.
Bet the flat Earthers couldn't tell you what the 3 main branches of Government are.

I have used Polaris to observe many Astronomical Azimuths or Astro Azimuths. Can't remember the Latitude where you are not able to see Polaris! I remember in Montana the star is pretty high in the sky and uncomfortable using a Wild T-3 and very comfortable in Florida.
