Lol... what war are we talking about? I don't know how old you are good World War II Korean or the Vietnam One?

My answer would be the latter. Tracers in the night it's referring to guns that have laser pointers directed at the Target, therefore the reference.

Rather hands the reference or Hans? The refer...Hans and Gretej pawned a kettle. Needless to say, the boil was away, and the steam we came overwhelming.

amber124,

Viet Nam.
The tracers at the time were coated with chemicals that made colors, US forces were red, the other guys blue-green......so in a firefight at first you would see red tracer going out, blue ones coming in........then as things got hectic you'd see red coming in and blue going out......, every so many rounds would be a tracer

Foot Note:
"Strangers In The Night': Sinatra's 1966 melodic & iconic piece of music by German composer & trumpeter Bert Kaempfert with English lyrics by Charles Singleton and Eddie Snyder was performed by many artists from Bing Crosby to Elvis Presley :-)
