Washington D.C. Ricin scare
Published:
The President and the Pentagon have been targeted with letters containing the poison Ricin. Should potential lottery winners open all the mail that he or she gets?
I will recycle or trash all the letters. Be aware beggars.
Comments
They're beautiful plants, with lovely green leaves at first w/ red "veins", then as they mature, the entire plant turns a deep red, nearly maroon and the seed cluster is gorgeous. The seeds are encased in a thorny round pod and the seeds themselves look a lot like pinto beans.
I doubt anyone would send you ricin, though, even though it's fairly simple to make. I'd be more worried about a crooked financial adviser or lawyer after winning the lottery. You could always bundle up all unsolicited mail and either return to sender or pass them along to that crooked financial adviser or lawyer. -wink-
