The left's argument was that getting an I.D. could be a hardship, nearly impossible for *some* people to obtain. The sole case I ever saw them use to prove that was some elderly, invalid woman living way out in the desert. What I couldn't understand is that they'd rather have left that poor woman out there to fend for herself and use her as a rare example of I.D inconvenience than to bring her into town and be looked after.

Besides all that, they would load up buses to take voters to the polls, but didn't care about doing the same for them to get an I.D.?

Like I said, it's rare these days for people to not have an I.D. in some form or fashion.

Thanks Sully. A state issued photo ID for anyone who can not afford it would work.

Thanks Mike. Georgia took ours through the legal system I believe to the Supreme Court and won. State furnishes photo ID to anyone not able to pay for it.
