I also like the term Nationalist Republican a whole lot better than Conservative Republican.

Thanks JAP. Without that video I would not have known it was up for vote in December. I think Styx is right about what they're trying to establish where the top 1% and politicians benefit and nothing for anyone else. All smoke and mirrors.

When I was a kid, we were going to Amarillo to shop for school clothes and I saw a billboard by the side of I-40 with HUGE print: "Get the U.S. Out of the U.N. NOW" and at the bottom were smaller letters"The John Birch Society"   I remembering wondering if they were some sort of nature organization, like The Audubon Club. (That was the same trip we also stopped at a truck stop and I wondered why they sold what looked like latex balloons in the men's bathroom)

Anyway, that always stuck with me and after I grew older I eventually looked up the John Birch Society; many sources described it as fascist (yes, even back then!) but I could read between the lines and came to the conclusion that their aims were actually good for America.

That wasn't the epiphany that turned me into a conservative, though. No, that was the day I got my very first paycheck and saw how much money had been taken out of it. <grin>

Oh, and one more thing about "nationalist". I don't mind being called one because "I are one!" <wink> Just know that when the leftists in here and elsewhere accuse us of being a nationalist, they mean "White Nationalist".

Thanks Mike. I've always loved America and the opportunities it could provide for anyone who had the vision and work ethic. Guess that's what my upbringing taught. Equal opportunity has never meant asset redistribution to me. That smacks too much like the old USSR.

*let them move to Geneva...or better yet, Somalia, maybe Syria. THEN they'd get together and start fixing the REAL problems in the world.
