I thought he was a good President, eminently qualified and I voted for him the first time. I made the mistake of not voting for him the second, the only vote I ever cast that I really regret.

His only "problem" was not just people like me who voted Libertarian or for Perot, but that he wasn't as charismatic as Clinton. We can now see what "charismatic" got us w/ Slick Willy's eight yrs. and Hussein's eight.

I lived in Ohio at the time and I told a co-worker I voted for Perot. He called me every name under the sun. Yeah, I regretted that myself.
I often think what might have been if things that happened in the last 50 years or so didn't, ie: JKF assassination, Nixon, Vietnam war, so on.

I voted for Him the first time, and the second also. To me I think he was a very qualified Man for the Job. His time as President proved the type of Man he was. One of the Very Best one term Presidents ever.
RIP President Bush.
