Not sure, but I *think* most drones sold in the U.S. now have to be registered as well as having software to prevent them from flying around airports or sensitive govt. installations.

I have a buddy who has a gorgeous teen daughter who still lives in our home town and a neighbor boy from down the block from his house used to fly his drone over the backyard where his girl was working on her tan. It's too bad the kid didn't see my pal's trap shooting vest with all the patches on it, one being the coveted "100 in a Row".   One shot, one kill.   The kid complained to the local sheriff, wanting charges filed and got laughed at.
