Pick three, why are we wasting our money?

Published:

Pick three? why are we wasting our money? I can see spending a few bucks on a jackpot game, sure the odds really suck but if your lucky enough to hit the big one your life will change forever.  But pick three if you play enough to win a thousand, you'll probably play enough to give it all back. So is the answer to play a minimum amount just to stay in action and if were lucky enough to win, use the winnings to swing for the fences? It can't be play multiple combinations everyday and let your winnings grow, can it? I don't know the answer but I spend a lot of time thinking I can beat this game. Could you spend lots of money everyday and not afford to think that way? I respect the game that's for sure. If you don't, it will make you respect it. You'll burn out, be pissed and feel like your blowing all your money for nothing. Oh, it's so much fun to play the lottery. I like to play but I want to win. Which is why I love the Lottery Post, there are a great number of people here who feel the same way and they share their idea's and picks with the rest of us and are all in battle against the evil lottery. An together though we may never totally defeat this beast, we will all have victories along the way and may share in each others triumphs. Now go get your tickets and man your battle stations. Good Luck to us.

Newsflash: People play Pick 3 because it's FUN ENTERTAINMENT, not to win a million bucks!

Todd, I agree it's fun but don't you want to win money? I do. I'm not talking millions, I'm talking more money than your playing, coming out ahead for the year. If I want entertainment, I'll go to a movie. I do agree people have different opinions on this subject and respect yours. Good Luck.

FAST EDDIE, I FEEL YOUR PAIN. AS MY NAME INDICATES, I ONLY MAKE SMALL BETS MAINLY FOR FUN AND COMPETITION BETWEEN MY HUSBAND AND MYSELF. I KNOW I WILL NEVER GET RICH OFF OF PLAYING THREE DIGITS. GOOD LUCK.

Eddie, I feel that the pick 3 is the easiest game to win and pays out the fairest amount related to the odds and it can be played tax free.
I also feel this game can be beat and my approach is to play as few picks as possible and parlay your wins on an on-going basis.
First thing is to consistently pick the right numbers which is the biggest challenge, but when/if you can accomplish this you could win a healthy annual income which is tax free if played properly and would be "life changing".
Anyhow that's my goal. The only jackpot game I play is $1 a day in Little Lotto because that could be a fast track to a life changing win and is still realistically attainable.

pick 4 is where it at. Best return for the buck. A lot harder to win a straight. However using some of the simple methods found on lottery post one should be able to win a straight at least once a year even if all they do is play some hot posters numbers every day.

Four4me, If I would have played in Fla. last night I'd be sitting on a boat load of cash with my straight hit. I love pick four and am presently playing only one combo here in IL. till it hits....

pick 3 is fun but i only play one or two pick 3's. I have a friend who is good at picking the 3's he puts no less than 20 dollars straight on one pick 3 number. He only plays it straight. Wins about 20 times a year. When i asked him how he picks his numbers he says he plays the three hotest numbers in the top 10 rank over a 12 days period. If the number has already hit then he plays the 2nd 3rd and 4th number straight in the top 10 rank. Sounds like a plan to me.

I myself play on 5dimes and I do come ahead, so that is why I continue to play. I agree with Todd it is fun but I have MORE FUN when I win. LOL Yesterday on 5dimes I wagered a total of 51 dollars combining both midday and evening plays and I won a total of 612.50...not bad for 1 days work. :-) I think I will keep playing. I find I do better when playing more than 1 state; this has always worked better for me. Good Luck my friend!!! BTW I actually won enough last year to NOT WORK for the entire year. I'm currently still not working outside of my home, but I did start working as a Life Coach/Counselor from home which is part time. Life Coaching is when clients call you and basically to sum it up briefly...it's telephone counseling so it is still not a demanding job. It's actually a career that I decided to go into because I really love people and enjoy helping others create good days for themselves. :-)
