Brexit proved that there are still quite a few freedom loving Brits who didn't want to knuckle under to a country that was terror bombing them back in the 1940's and wanted to conquer them this time w/out firing a shot. That stands reason on its head completely and makes no sense whatsoever. Guess there is some payoff somewhere.
