Abuse

You don't get abused because there are a lot of abusers out there. You get abused because you send out signals that say, "Abuse me. I'll take it."

Comments
(1) is when a weirdo approaches me or asks me out. Seems as if there's a sign that says, if you belong in a padded cell, see Nancy over there in the corner. It's because I smile at everyone. So maybe that's a signal.
(2) is when I work in a place and co-workers tease me and ridicule me, sometimes for no reason. They're usually men (probably have little weiners. lol) Even when I protest, it just makes things worse. So I need to walk into a room with confidence and a "don't mess with me" attitude. Sometimes it's my fault, but I am trying to focus on a more positive image of myself.
