No Horonor.
Not My Elder.
I do hope the legal system has its way with the media which piled on and didn't walk back with an apology.
Now that it's ok to be a vet I see a whole lot of people wearing Viet Vet hats, but when you ask them what unit and such, the lingo just ain't right.
One clown said he was airborne so I asked him how many PLF's (parachute landing falls, a technique for when you land) he could put in a kit bag. He said, "I got 19 in one time" so I ripped his store bought wings off of his phony uniform.
Another time a supervisor where I worked had a baseball hat with a cartoon chicken on it.........I asked him what it was and he said, "101st Airborne." I happened to have a real 101st hat in my car and told him that it was the real deal. End of conversation and his making believe he was a barfin' buzzard.
There's also an awful lot of make believe Navy Seals running around too.
Thank you for your service Coin. Also thank you for your service to anyone else reading my blog.
