I reckon it could define a persons character.
A hijab defines character.
A cowboy hat defines the person character.
A pussy hat defines the persons character.
A Kaffiyeh defines the persons character
The list could go on

Can those not be an identifying symbol of the the culture or group they've chosen to be a part of? Some are born into that group, others choose. Some are fully assimilated, some may choose another direction.

Thanks JAP. I feel there is too fast a rush to judgment, to categorize based on superficial appearance and/or insufficient information. For progressives the label seals the narrative so they run with it.

Thanks Eddessa. Wise words indeed. My take is progressives preach inclusiveness and tolerance but don't put it into practice.
