Well now how interesting is this?

Living in Texas, I have known and still know many Hispanics and not a one of them is a leftist wanting open borders. Granted, many of them feel some empathy for those who come North looking for a better life, but they also know that we need some system to keep out the crooks. I ran into an old friend the other day, a Hispanic guy, who was wearing a MAGA hat.

(He's in auto body repair and bought an old junker, one of those Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am models and fixed it up, spend a thousand on the motor and the interior (his aunt does upholstery) and did the body work and painting himself, saving a lot of money but still costing a lot for the materials) He got done and got out to go get it insured, inspected and tagged and didn't get a block away from his house until an illegal - drunk as a skunk - ran a stop sign and totaled my friend's Trans Am. Of course, the illegal didn't have a drop of insurance nor a driver's license and after getting bailed out of jail, disappeared. Needless to say, my friend was sick about it)

The local newspaper publishes the arrest report once/week and it looks like a page ripped out of a Tijuana phone book.

What an awful story but does not surprise me.

Sick? I would be furious.
