That's probably what he could have made being the backup QB that is his talent level - spread out over the last couple of years and for eight more after that, so he came out smelling like a rose. I seriously doubt there was any collusion among all the owners or even a few to deny him his chance. There are quite a few owners in the league who would have signed him if they needed someone to plug in after an injury; perhaps they thought the controversy associated with him would far outweigh any talent he would bring. I mean...even Michael Vick played after all his trouble.

He had the right to kneel and the owners had the right to not put him on their roster. Face it, though...it never was about any "cause" but only to bring attention to himself.
