What this guy did was just plain dumb and made absolutely zero sense. It seems he wanted more money and, instead of trying to come up with something creative for the show which would garner more views, he took the quick, easy, and wrong route. That police chief is right, it's a slap in the face for all those that have condemned legitimate hate crimes. If he wanted more money then, I'm sure they could've worked something out over time but he was impatient.
