Seems they knew about the tryst, for sure, and that it was indeed a collective effort to protect him at the expense of intentional pre-election non-disclosure. It would be different if they actually had no knowledge of it prior but, hell, they haven't even conceded to the proven fact that Trump lied about the payment period...and the intent of the payment. Oh, but let's go on the attack of CNN, NBC, and especially the NY Times for selective reporting. To be very honest, though, with everything else that's happened even after that, it's very clear to me that they wouldn't have given two $hits about it either way.

Republican oversight has been zero since Trump took office and, I mean, they have allowed serious legal violations to go unchecked whereas with Obama they literally called everything out. Democrats during Obama's terms even seemed to take issues with things the Republicans questioned. Big difference, huh? These people have not once questioned Trump, and, that carried over into the Cohen testimony where Republicans KNEW the facts about Trump's dealings directly due to the FBI raid. Crooked Hillary? Lock her up?

Man, I can't wait for those words to come back haunting all of them and their supporters, too.
