Georgia House passes 'Heartbeat Bill' outlawing most abortions after 6 weeks

Doctors say a heartbeat is typically detected when a fetus reaches six weeks' gestation.

What I found highly amusing was the threat by some actors, led by Alyssa Milano, to boycott acting in any movies or TV shows currently being filmed in Georgia.

I mean...it's not as though the movie companies can get that 30% tax credit just anywhere and it's not as if there aren't literally thousands of out-of-work actors who could not capably fill their shoes.

Milano declared "We need to band together and stop feeding the Georgia economy!" Sweetie, that's already happening in reverse what with movie revenues falling. You people are protesting your way out of your livelihood and many others are joining those of us who have already silently boycotted your smut, political diatribes and endlessly recycled and repackaged storylines.

Thanks Mike. Well said. Given how real computer generated characters can be, who needs actors or actresses?

Thanks Sully. Probably not the final stopping point so we'll see where they land.
