One duck is only a little less dark than the other one and it's called "Crispy". I can think of worse names to be called. The yellow duck is "Fluffy" and I'd think that would be offensive to some women as that's another name for "chubby". Maybe the third and darkest one is called "Ugly" because of the red splotches on it? Is that meant to be some sort of chocolate duck vitiligo? If so, then maybe those suffering from that skin condition should be offended. OTOH, I've read that people with vitiligo are less prone to melanoma, so they've got that goin' for 'em, huh?

Of course, as the story points out, in the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale, the bullied ugly duckling later turned into a beautiful swan. Magic, actually, b/c young swans, ugly or not, are referred to as "cygnets", not ducklings. Maybe the same people getting offended are those who actually believe in magic and fairy tales?

I think you can tell a lot about a person by what offends them. In this case, they're getting offended by dark chocolate. Funny, but dark chocolate is supposed to be good for you (in small quantities).

What's really telling is how fast Great Britain is sliding down that slippery PC slope. That ain't no fairy story.
