I do not know if Assange is in violation of news reporting laws but his extradition brings up a question.
Assange is a non US citizen being extradited by the US. Now lets say that a US citizen news reporter or a US news organization publishes information on a foreign government. That foreign government declares that published information is violating their security laws. Can that foreign government now extradite a US citizen or news organization to their country for prosecution?

I've thought about this a lot and while I know he broke U.S. law by publishing classified material, he didn't steal the information...info. that brought to light things that definitely needed to be exposed.

I am hoping Trump pardons him so we can get the rest of those dirty secrets out in the open. He would not survive until trial, I'm afraid; the Deep State will have him killed. (and Hillary is probably at this very moment trying to figure out whether to make it a murder by another prisoner or suicide)
