When I was on Facebook, I belonged to several conservative groups. One got shuttered, not sure why but when the next one did and the owner opened up another one, she said she was told there were "credible threats of violence". She had her fair share of trolls and was on top of all the hateful things they'd post and had even made several other members moderators so she could take a break now and then...you know, to eat and sleep and tend to her family.

That one got closed down, too.

In the meantime, groups like "Kill Sarah Palin" and "Death to Trump" were allowed to stay up and running. I kept reporting them and eventually found myself banned for three days for "abusing the reporting system" I was told.   I sent P.M.'s to those I wanted to know that I was leaving and how they could reach me and left the very next day...and haven't looked back....except:   

I have an account with a fake name b/c many websites use the FB plug-in for comments. I clear cookies and cache frequently so they cannot track me, ditto for Twitter. (I have another fake name acct. w/ them, too...but that's only to follow a few conservatives and the President.)

Pretty soon Facebook and Twitter both will be nothing more than leftist echo chambers.

They have a Monopoly, what we need is more competition.

Thanks Unluckyone. I'm trusting the plan. It's not been laid out as to what it is because if they do that then the other side will skirt around it. So far Pres Trump has done and epic job, given the soft coup and obstruction he's faced. Just think what he could have done unfettered.
