Why? Because of the recent HBO series? (I've yet to watch the finale episode which aired a few days ago)

They've been operating tours there for several years now, but I'm with you, Sully; why take the chance? I think at the very least you get enough exposure equal to a chest X-ray. Nope, not for me...I've seen enough videos and documentaries to see what's what.

BTW, Stephen King tweeted the other day that Chernobyl was a metaphor for Trump's administration. I can't see it as anything but a condemnation of socialism and the former U.S.S.R as well as Soviet technology during that time. If anything, it's representative of the leftist meltdown after Trump was elected...and nearly as toxic to this country.

King hasn't been the same since his accident. His book - 11/22/63- about the time traveling back to the JFK assassination was full of BS leftist "facts". (mistakes about location, guns, the oil industry, etc.) Sad, b/c it had so much promise to the premise.   I can overlook much of Hollywood and many writers, singers, etc. being left-leaning b/c if I didn't, then I couldn't watch/read/listen to anyone at all, but there's a point to where I draw the line and he crossed it a long time ago.

I honestly think his wife was a ghost writer for most of his books, not just after the accident, but before. She's a fine writer in her own right.
